Moving on 1 – Finnish from A1.2. Part 1. ILTA
For students who know a little bit Finnish.
This is the first part of a series of two. You can enroll to one or both parts. The second part begins in April.
Jan 12th to Feb. 9th
Wednesdays 10 a.m. – 11.30 a.m. (Helsinki time) + homework
To participate you need a computer (or laptop) with microphone. Camera is necessary.
Live online once a week and homework.
Small group, max. 12 students.
The second part of Moving on-courses will be on Tuesdays at 11-12.30 (Helsinki time), starting April 12th.
Moving on is a series of two 5 weeks online courses for you, who know the basics of Finnish pronunciation, grammar and some vocabulary.
On this first part of Moving on, you will learn:
- to tell about your family, profession and/or studies
- to tell where you live
- about public transport
- Verb conjugation and many verbs
- to tell what time/month/year it is
- Fun phrases and important questions
All this in only 5 weeks!
Teaching is in English, but you will speak a lot of Finnish.
The course will be held online via the conference application Zoom. During lessons you will study also in Zoom Breakoutrooms. To participate you need a computer with an internet connection and headphones with a microphone. A camera is also necessary.
